A stretch of roadside trees in Lehi had grown well past their safe boundary, with low-hanging limbs and dense brush encroaching directly over the street and sidewalk. The overgrowth was creating a real visibility hazard for drivers and pedestrians, obstructing sightlines near a residential crosswalk and crowding the shoulder where vehicles and foot traffic needed clearance.
Our Approach
Our crew arrived with a bucket truck and set up full traffic control, including cones and barricades, to keep the work zone safe for passing vehicles and pedestrians throughout the job. Working from the bucket and on the ground, our climbers used chainsaws to methodically cut back the overextended limbs and clear out the dense understory brush crowding the roadway. Every cut was made to restore a clean, code-compliant clearance zone above the street and along the sidewalk, and all debris was chipped and hauled away as we went.
The Result
The roadside is now fully cleared, with a safe, open sightline for drivers and a clean, unobstructed sidewalk for pedestrians. The trees and vegetation along the corridor are healthier and better maintained, and the City of Lehi right-of-way is back in compliance with a tidy, professional finish.
